Our District Literacy Fair at SHATA and ELC was nothing short of AMAZING!
Our learners blew us away with their phenomenal presentations about their favorite books — from Princess Tiana and her beignets to Pirates sailing the seas, we saw creativity soar!
A huge shoutout to our 72 participants — you truly made this event special! We were also honored to welcome Dr. Alisa Ross, who read from her inspiring book “Why I Became a Teacher”. Every ELC learner received an autographed copy with a special message inside!
Plus, learners left with books to enjoy over the summer and helpful info about our Summer Reading Program!

Southeast Community Health Systems is offering vision testing at Greensburg schools to support the health and wellness of our students during a well-child, sports physical, or preventative visit. Early detection is key to ensuring students succeed academically and beyond. The Vision Screener tool is a handheld, portable device that allows for fast, non-invasive vision screening. If the screening shows that your child may need further care, we will contact you. You will receive a summary of the results and, if needed, a recommendation to schedule a full eye exam with an optometrist.
