As we approach the start of the 2023-2024 school year there are a few items we would like to bring to your attention:
1. Summer Reading Program - All learners are required to complete the assignment for their grade level. The assignment will be used as their first English grade for the year. Click HERE if your child has not submitted their assignment.
2. Parent Meeting – NEW for the 2023-2024 school year – please come with your child on their first day of school to help us welcome them to a new year. We will host parent meetings and recognize all the learners who completed their reading assignments and/or accomplished an academic goal over the summer months. Click HERE to read the flyer.
3. Four-Day School Week – Please remember we will operate on a 4-day school week. Click HERE to review the calendar and other school year information.
4. Summer School – Information was sent to all learners who were required to attend our summer school program. Please do not risk your child being held back for their failure to attend. Also, all learners in summer school are expected to do their work and pay attention in class. We track their progress each week. They must show growth to move to the next grade.
5. School Cash Online – all payments for sporting events and other school activities will be paid using our online payment system. Now is a great time to sign up for your Hawk Debit Card through Neighbor’s Federal Credit Union. Click HERE to register!
We expect to have a super school year. This can only be accomplished with the full support of our community. We need you! Please do your part to make St. Helena a GREAT place to learn and grow.
