The following changes to the District Calendar will be recommended to the School Board as a result of the 19 instructional days missed due to Hurricane Ida.
- Six (6) days were embedded into the calendar for weather emergencies, leaving 13 remaining "make-up" days.
- Thirty (30) minutes will be added to the school day beginning Monday, September 27 and ending Wednesday, December 22. School hours will be 8:30am-3:30pm. These minutes accumulate to four (4) school days, leaving 9 remaining "make-up" days.
- March 2-4, 2022 will convert to regular school days.
The last day of school will change from Friday, May 13 to Thursday, May 26. Record's Day will change from Monday, May 16 to Friday, May 27. This change will account for the remaining 9 days needed to complete the calendar.
All Progress Report and Marking Period dates have changed to reflect the adjustments to the calendar.
