P-EBT FOR K-12 STUDENTS IN ST. HELENA PARISH
Due to COVID-19, Louisiana received federal approval to issue P-EBT benefits for the 2020-21 school year. Children who receive free/reduced meals are eligible only if their school was closed, or if learning was conducted virtually (100% or hybrid).
- Eligible students who participated in HYBRID learning will receive $48.23 per month.
- Eligible students who participated in 100% VIRTUAL (eLearning) will receive $120.71 per month.
- Benefits are retroactive to cover the whole school year. (August 1, 2020 - May 2021)
- Only students who were identified as 100% eLearning will receive the maximum P-EBT award amount.
