2024 School Performance Score Results
Here are the results of the 2024 School Performance Score (SPS) for St. Helena Parish Schools. While we are still classified as a "D" district, I am pleased to inform you that we have made measurable progress, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our learners, teachers, and staff.
Here are some highlights from this year's performance data:
K-8 & High School Assessment Index: Increased by 6.1 points
K-8 Assessment Index: Increased by 6.8 points
Dropout Credit Accumulation Index: Increased by 1.1 points
High School Assessment Index: Increased by 2.3 points
ACT Index: Increased by 12.4 points
District Performance Score: Increased by 0.8 points
St. Helena Arts and Technology Academy SPS: Increased by 3.7 points
St. Helena Early Learning Center is rated Highly Proficient!
These improvements demonstrate that we are moving in the right direction. While our progress has been steady, we acknowledge that it has been slow. We remain committed to accelerating our growth and achieving excellence across all schools in the district.
