Free Heart Screens at SHCCA

Free Heart Screens for Students: St. Helena College and Career Academy parents of students athletes and marching band members. January 19, 2022 in partnership with the Louisiana Pediatric Cardiology Foundation, we will be offering FREE heart screens. The heart screen is to detect Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a genetic heart condition that causes a thickening of the heart wall, leading to the obstruction of blood flow and erratic heart beat.
