📘 ELA Lesson Focus: Innovation and Perseverance In this lesson, learners were able to read the text and describe how William creatively used scrap materials to design and build innovations that improved life for himself and his family. Learners also contrasted the descriptions and imagery of William’s inventions with the descriptions and imagery of his rural environment to explain the significance of his achievements.

📚✨ ELA Learning in Action! Learners in ELA are actively analyzing and discussing character development by examining characters’ decisions, internal conflicts, and personal growth throughout the text. Through thoughtful discussion and evidence from the reading, learners are explaining how characters change and what motivates their actions.

Proud of our Beta Club for helping turn generosity into SERVICE. Thanks to Beacon Light of Hammond’s Men’s Ministry, our club received 15 school-approved coats to support students in need. Small acts create big impact. #service #wiredforsuccess #leadership #NationalBeta

What started as an idea became a day full of meaning. Our Beta Club members delivered holiday cheer to St. Helena nursing home residents by playing bingo and assisting with delivering Christmas gifts. They took time to truly connect with the residents. The Cards of Kindness initiative was led by one of our newly inducted members. They handmade holiday cards and shared meaningful conversations. We spoke life. We broke lies. We affirmed one another. We dreamed boldly.
